✔️ Option 1: Add a Vertical Video Block (Native Squarespace – simplest)

Squarespace supports vertical video uploads — you just need to format it correctly.

Steps

1. Go to Pages → Edit Page

2. Click + Add Block → Video

3. Upload your 9:16 vertical video (1080 × 1920 or 4K vertical)

4. In Design settings, turn ON:

   • "Expand to full width" (if available)

   • "Poster Image" (optional)

5. Set the alignment to Center

What this gives you

• A vertical 9:16 video that sits centered on the page

• Works great if you only need one single vertical video

✔️ Option 2: Create an Instagram-Style Vertical Feed (Stacked videos)

This is great if you want the page to look like an IG feed → multiple vertical videos stacked with spacing.

Steps

1. Add a Section → Blank

2. Add a Video Block

3. Upload your vertical video

4. Under Spacing, add:

   • Top/Bottom padding around each video

5. Duplicate the block to create a vertical stack (like IG Reels)

Optional CSS (makes it look EXACTLY like Instagram Reel dimensions):

(Works on any Squarespace template.)

Go to:
Design → Custom CSS → paste this:

• Has a max width so it doesn’t stretch too wide on desktop

✔️ Option 3: Display a REAL Instagram Reel Feed on your Site (auto-updating)

If you want your actual Instagram Reels to appear on Squarespace automatically:

Steps

1. Go to Marketing → Social Links

2. Connect your Instagram business account

3. Go to Pages → Add Section → Instagram

4. Choose:

   • Grid

   • Carousel

   • Masonry

Important

Instagram will show all your posts, not just Reels.
If you want Reels only, you’ll need a plugin (happy to set up for you).

1. Click your video block

2. Go to Settings → Advanced

3. Under CSS Class, enter:

• Centered

• Limited to the exact IG Reel width

• Rounded corners

• Clean spacing

This creates the effect of a REAL Instagram feed.

⭐ STEP 4 — Duplicate the block if you want a FEED

If you want it to look like multiple Reels stacked vertically:

1. Hover over the video block

2. Click ••• → Duplicate

3. Replace each video with a new vertical clip

This creates a vertical “Reels page” that looks exactly like Instagram.
